Another spoofed local number. No message of course. They are getting more sophisticated in faking the origin of the calls. Probably not even from a location in the US. In addition to blocking all of these numbers, I now no longer answer any calls with my area code that do not have a name showing on the caller ID. If it's legit, they'll leave a message.
Even that tactic is insufficient. I have received calls from my own area code and exchange with valid names attached that turn out be be one of the numerous robocall pests like the credit card interest rate reduction scammers. This can cause real trouble for innocent parties if the spoofed number with a name is still being used by that person and people call back and complain.
