received a text message with this number..... it said; hi ______ (my real name) u there? Have not heard from u in a while. Kind creeps me out?! How do they know my real name?

When I asked who it was they gave some Yahoo messenger link, so obviously weird kind of spam. Wonder how to report/stop this kind of stuff?
Got the same message and when she replied with textiegirl33 or whatever the hell it was...she said if you want to know who this is follow me...and i was like, I don't want to know that bad....Ridiculous...now the spam is spilling to texts....
