Looked suspicious on caller ID: Unknown Name 503-123-4599. But since it was the local area code, I answered. There was no response to my "hello" within 2-3 seconds, so I hung up.
I never say "hello" a second time or wait more than 2-3 seconds, as that would give these idiots a chance to get on the line with me. Real callers always have a response within 2-3 seconds.
