Now, I just add this number to "Auto Reject List" on my Android cellphone.
Hopefully this will solve this issue for good!
We keep receiving calls from this "Forest Grove, Oregon" number for someone with the same last name as us. They won't quit calling even though we tell them that they have the wrong number. Reverse calling says it's disconnected. We can't stop this!!! If they are creditors, they need to be accountable for their harassment of folks who they are calling. They should also have a name of company and who to contact to cancel future calls.
Just got a call from this number. While it is a Forest Grove, OR exchange which is local to me, caller ID showed that the call originated in Beaverton which is about 16 miles east. I did answer it and said HELLO but no one came on the line. Eventually an automated female voice said GOODBYE and the call disconnected. Likely a robo scammer.
Second call in less than 2 days from this number. Showed up again as coming from Beaverton, OR. Male voice with no accent named Lee who claimed to be representing a 'whole health supplement' company. Became testy and rude when I asked why he was calling a number that is on the No Call list... he claimed he did not know that. I pointed out that since he is a telephone solicitor it is his responsibility to know. He became even testier, made a few rude comments, and hung up.
