I receive 4 or more calls per day from this number. I have requested that the person they are looking for no longer lives here, and i'm still getting calls.
Apparently, this caller has a minimum of three land-line numbers and possibly more. The most common of the three reported numbers is (503)403-2665. Many posts agree that this is a collections agency representing tardy Wells Fargo accounts. However, the majority of the posted comments suggest potentially fraudulent or at the very least suspicious behavior. Personally, I've received many calls from a couple of the numbers and have yet to receive a voicemail. So obviously, whoever is calling prefers their identity remain unknown until someone on the other end initiates a conversation by way of answering an incoming call or simply calling back. Luring people into communicating seems to be their initial objective. And that suggests that the information they seek may be in your best interest to keep to yourself.
Received multiple calls in a row, up to seven calls from a Blocked number.
Nobody ever answered on the other end.
However, I'm on a Voice-over-IP (VOIP) service and can trace all calls back, including blocked numbers.
The number was revealed as 5034032667.
I called them and it turns out to be a collection arm for Wells Fargo (I had missed a credit card payment).
After some back and forth I got a supervisor on the line. He said their system is an automatic dialer, when the recipient of the call picks up the system is supposed to connect him with a collection agent.
He stated that in rare cases that doesn't happen and he doesn't know why either.
I suggested the system might have problems working with VOIP services.
All in all the call was legit but the nature of the calls and the frequency was highly disturbing and stressing.
