they left a voice mail but the man on the line was ranting about he doesn't like children, I don't like children, he doesn't like children...Aside from not wanting unsolicited calls, he sounded a little crazy. Just don't answer when they call.
We get this company (along with others) all the time. They are rude, insulting, and fully expect to have the call transferred just on their request. My company does not allow me to transfer a call without cause, which they refuse to provide.
This caller at least didn't threaten to get me fired before ending the call.

I answer the phones at my work and have been taught to screen all calls. So I asked who he was, he said he was Greg from Graystone and needed to speak to the accounts payable department. I asked what it was in regards to and he said outstanding balances. I asked if he meant on our part, he said no clients. I informed him that we weren't interested and that we handle collections ourselves and before I could finish, he said "You do it yourselves?" and hung up on me. Even if this is a legit business, if this is the kind of people they have working for them, I would never use them for any type of work. Very rude.
