Calls every day. I entered 9 as directed to not receive any more solicitations. Calls continue. If this company's purpose is to make money then see to it that you never do business with them regardless of the great promises they make. That way this call system and aggressive methodology will end up costing them money and the calls will stop. In other words, punish them for their bad behavior since they obviously don't have any integrity. That alone excludes me from ever doing any business with them.
I got a recorded message call from "Service Call". The recording offered a free security system to the home owner if we would agree to place their sign in the yard. I pressed 1, Jason answered and initially said he worked for GE, then he said he worked for a subcontractor of GE, then he said he worked for "Maxam". I then asked to be placed on Maxam's do not call list and that I wanted a copy of Maxam's call policy. Jason responded that he didn't have those abilities but that he would try. Jason hung up.
The message said "The FBI reports a break-in every...minutes" and goes on to ask if I would allow a sign to be placed in my yard, they would install a home security system free. Uh huh. It was "Press 1 for a representative or press 9 to be placed on THEIR Do Not Call list.
The only thing about being on the Federal Do Not Call List is that it prevents a live person from making an unsolicited sales call. I have a "No Soliciting" sign outside my door. How do I get one on my phone?
