I have been on the do not call list for 3-4 years and yet they call. The "Financial Ctr" is among the worst. Try what I do. I press one and when the person get on the line, i claim to have larengitis and for them to listen carefully. THEN I take my nice, American made brass whistle and blow it into the receiver as hard as I can. Did this a week ago and so far, no calls. IF they call again, they will get the same treatment.
I keep getting calls from this number. The recording says that this is my final courtesy call to lower my credit card rate to 6%. All I need is $3,000 in credit card debt and one card in good standing. It says they have tried to contact me several times and that this is my final call for my yearly credit card review.
I don't have credit cards!!
The automated recording does not give a key to press to be removed from their list. So I press 1 and get the person who answers the phone. This last time he said, "So you are interested in lowering your credit card payments?" I said, "No, I want you to remove me from your list." But before I even finished saying it, he hung up on me.
I have done this several times already and every time they hang up on me. How am I to get off this list!???
