Got that alarm company robocall, pressed 1 to talk to the BLEEPERS and the line disconnected. Called back and number is disconnected. BLEEPERS. No telling where the phone call originated from if the number is spoofed. File an FCC spoofed number complaint. At least they keep statistics on each spoofed number. Also, you and try calltrap, com or a similar service if you want to spend the money. I think that as consumers we should demaind that our phone company help us with these calls and find the real number and go to either the FTC, FCC, or state attorney general of the physical location of the real phone number and sue the pants off these guys.
I dropped what I was doing to run to the phone, only to hear a recorded woman's voice asking me if I had dirty carpets. This has happened several times before, though i didn't pay attention to the number to see if it was the same one. Please stop.
if i need my carpet cleaned i'll call a carpet cleaner, if i need insurance i'll call a insurance comp, i don't need a security system i have guns and know how to use them.
They hung up when I answered. I called them back and a recording came on and it asks you to press "1" to be taken off their list..................it takes 24 hours. Lets hope this works.
I got a call from the number, recorded message, stating that the FBI had reported breakins - it was a security alarm company. When I answered and asked for the name of the company the woman hung up.
