Received a text message from a "Jennifer" saying the following "Hey Bill, not sure if you or anyone still smokes. But www.cig28.com is giving away free ecig trials. - Jennifer". Total spam and I think they got my number from Facebook as my husband had the cell phone number validated thru Facebook via text. Not liking Facebook now as it seems they're giving out cell phone numbers now. I've seen other postings online that they recv'd the same message as I did about cig28.com.
I've just now reported the text msg scam recv'd by www.cig28.com. Totally fell into the scam because not everyone knows my nickname: Tony. The web address is a blank page and now I'll have to watch for a virus. Hopefully I have not corrupted my computer! My phone & internet acct are under my full name. The only place my nickname is listed is Facebook or my Yahoo Mail acct's. Neither acct has my cell number listed, but one or the other has to be involved.
