Capital One Collections trying to work out a payment plan...
If you call the 800 number left on the message, the number you are calling from is automatically linked to the delinquent account and your call is transferred to a collection rep.
They are such a pain. Don't know why they have to call from so many numbers.
Better stay away from Capital One Card.....they give smaller credit limit and on top of it reduce the credit limit if you miss a payment and update the APR every 3 months and say if you dis agree with this feel free to close the account....... they are something
It is from Capital One and is probably Linda with a great offer for you. You have to wait past the pause and her recording will come on. I closed my account and now I get calls about 3X a day from "Linda" with great offers for me.
This is a phishing scam. They use several numbers to call you. I have a record of 8 different numbers used over the last week. Numbers I have received calls from are 503-547-83300. 304-252-0135. 800-955-6600. 866-929-5306. 815-756-6960. 909-390-4781. 281-208-1093. 866-381-0453. I recieve 3-4 calls per day. The message says it is from Linda but if you actually answer someone with an East Indian accent will come on the phone. You can hear other people in the background doing the same thing. They are trying to get your social security nubmer. When you start questioning them they will hang up on you. If you try to give them fake numbers they will take the call but at some point, when you start questioning them, they will hang up on you. Not sure what it will take to stop the calls .... it's getting irritating.
I get roughly 15-20 calls a day from them, and won't answer it anymore. I missed one payment with CapOne, paid it, and now I'm flooded with calls but refuse to talk to anyone on the phone because not sure who is CapOne and who isn't.
