I had two missed calls in two days from this number with no voice mail. I asked immediately if this was a solicitation call and here's how the conversation went:
sales guy: "no, no, nothing like that, we offer services...."
me: "so you offer your services for free?"
sales guy: "no"
me: "then this is a solicitation call, remove my number from your list and don't call me again."
Do they really think they will get anyone to give them money when they start off with lying?
It was a young woman calling asking for my employer. I said he was on the other line would she like to leave a message. She then asked if he would be in tomorrow. I said no, would she like to leave a message? She said no, I'll just call back. Wouldn't clarify what it was in regards to, just kept asking questions about his availability. Caller ID said "Rhododendron, OR".
Sales call. Called my business line. Message said he was calling from Yodel. Yodle provides local businesses with a simple and affordable way to promote their services and generate new leads using internet marketing. Uh huh.
