Got multiple calls from this number (six in the last two days!). Every time I pickup, there is dead air. They never leave a message. I called back and get a recording about whether or not I'm interested in "discounted newspaper subscriptions". Am reporting them to https://complaints.donotcall.gov/.
I'm receiving weekly calls. The first time they called I answered because I saw it was a local number. It was a recorded message. I no longer answer. I am on the Do Not Call Registry... grrrrr
After getting multiple calls from this number and not answering (and no messages left), I decided to pick up today. It was the Oregonian newspaper trying to get me to resubscribe. After multiple problems with the paper delivery, I cancelled service and since then I have gotten so many calls from different numbers wanting me back. NOT going to happen! The look of the paper has changed (it now looks like one like the Enquirer!) and they only deliver 4 days a week. I told the caller to take my name off their calling list because I would never take the paper again...will see if that happens!! I kept hearing a beep throughout conversation, so it was being recorded???
