Portland Rescue Mission does work with Gateway Communications for a 1x/year phone campaign in April. We only call existing donors to the Mission. Gateway also works with other Portland nonprofits for fundraising. If you don't want to contacted, simply let Portland Rescue Mission know (503-MISSION or www.PortlandRescueMission.org) and we'll restrict calls to your home. Thanks for your support.
I just got 2 calls from that number, and both times I let the machine pick it up, but they left no message. On the second call, I heard background noise before they hung up, it sounded like a busy office or call center. In the past, I have donated to the Portland Rescue Mission, maybe that is where they got my phone number. This is why I screen ALL calls.
Have been getting multiple calls per day from this number; shows up as Gateway" on caller ID. I've contibuted to PDX Rescue mission before, too...weird.
