Got the call but didnt answer. I'm suspecting its the warranty people. The make it seem like its something you paid for at the dealer. Extended warranties are a scam anyway.
I was at work when I got this call @ 652pm in CA. Everytime I get a call with a strange area code, I usually don't answer. I've gotten those stupid car warranty things too. My warranty doesn't expire in another 4 years! It's just a scam. Don't even bother linking up to the customer service line because all you'll end up getting is ripped off. I always hang up the phone when it's those types of calls.
This number calls. Did not leave a message. Similar phone calls from these numbers: 866-961-9219 and 866-314-5513. When I answer there is silence for about 2-3 seconds and someone hangs up. When I call back it is busy. The only thing I can think of is I took a free IQ test on the internet last week, and in order to get results, there was a bunch of things they were trying to sell. I clicked on a few free things- I signed up for some information regarding a sleep disorder clinic. Unfortunately, I gave out my phone number. I realized the advertisements kept coming, I mean they must have had atleast 100 hundred things, do I just clicked off already and never got the results. However, I find it odd none of these numbers calling are from a sleep clinic and are calls that are annoying others and me. Sounds like it was a scam.
