its a telemarketing call. if you call the number back it says "if you are not interested in receiving future calls press one" but that doesn't do any good. I've been getting the exact same call from about 20 different numbers. whenever one number gets reported enough times they just call from another one
You will continue to get them. They are a scam company that I bet has used 50 different numbers to call both my home and cell. DO NOT CALL lists don't work because they don't abide by the laws. I think if you call them back, or actually answer the calls you will get more. Pressing any number to have them not call will increase the frequency of the calls. They then know your number is valid and will increase activity. It is a numbers game for them. Also most of the numbers they call from are spoofed. They have a computer program that generates bogus numbers to show up on your caller ID. Many of the numbers shown are not in service when you call them back. The phone companies are not going to help either, they want companies making phone calls. Good luck.
Mine stated that it was a call to loweremy credit card interest rate and to press "1" if you are interested. I work for a bank and know these are mostly scams but wanted to see what they would try to get outta me so I pressed "1". When the guy came on the line, I asked who he was calling in behalf of and was immediately put on "eternal hold". I hung up after a short time. Scammers!
We get about three of these calls a week on home and cell phone. They are from Rachael. When I press 1 and ask to be taken off the ir calling list, they hang up.
