This is a spam call. You do not talk to anyone. Instead, you get a recorded voice that claims to be having headset trouble right after you pick up and say hello. That seems like a very human thing to have happen, but it's fake. The recording then says "Can you hear me?"

DO NOT ANSWER "YES'!

This outfit will take that recorded "yes" and use it as proof that you agreed to buy whatever they're selling - resort time or cruises, I didn't pay much attention to the spiel especially once I realized it was a recording. This type of call is happening nationwide, with the spammers using numbers that appear to be local, so only people local to Portland, OR will get called from this number.
