Random text from 650-929-3160 (different area code, but same thing in a text message). I don't even have an account with Wells Fargo, so clearly it is a scam. DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS TEXT/ CALL
I received a text from this number regarding a Wells Fargo account. This number is a SCAM!
I contacted Wells Fargo and they let me know this was a phishing scam.
On 9-2-11, I received a text from 503-929-3160 saying Wells Fargo - Bank alert - your card has been deactivated, please call us at 503-688-9247. Definitely a scam !
I received a text from the number (503) 929-3160, reporting deactivation of debit card and a return call number for my (650) area code. Not calling after reading this, but am so curious, who is behind this. Was suspicious because I don't have an account with Wells Fargo.
