This number has been calling me non stop since 3 days ago and I thought it was a debt collector so I answered and the lady harrassed me about furthering my education and I told her I was not interested so she hung up on me and that number still continues to call.
I clicked on an ad regarding online schooling a couple weeks ago and the calls have not stopped. This is one of 4 that have been calling me. I'm assuming this is one of them as when I answer, no one is on the other end, then hangs up.
Could be Verizon contracting side businesses in getting my minutes used up and/or the Feds doing a locate on me... lol.

this number is a telemarketer calling because i apparently "expressed an interest in returning to school" (i have a masters degree....)
i believe this came from something i filled out online about WORK FROM HOME through career builders or monster. i am calling a lawyer, the BBB and am attempting to get them fined or sue them for the 10,000 dollars PER INCIDENT that harassing solicitation is worth and suggest ALL of you do the same! record the call date, time, person on the phone, who they are calling on behalf of and THEN if they will give it to you, the name of the company that they actually work for..... Be nice or they will hang up w/o giving up the information. Once all this is complete, ask to speak to a supervisor, inform them that you have taken down the information and that you WILL be recording ALL calls and taking this information to your lawyer. then ask to be removed from ALL calling lists. (this however somehow inadvertently triggers more calls... b/c the person on the phone is so miserable that they want to bring you down with them, they disposition the phone call as a "not home" or "no answer" or something that will trigger a redial rather than the TWO "not interested"'s that it takes to get you out of the standard automatic dialer.) Follow these steps and seek an attorney and maybe we can all be part of a class action suit!
