Man with a heavy accent actually left a message on my answer machine!! He was mentioning the United States Treasury,a felony,going before a magistrate, And repeating phone number more clearly than most while encouraging me to call him back to clear this up.
So this Michael James called me totally from India said he was from the treasury Department and that if I hang up the phone that the FBI and IRS were coming to take me to do a minimum of three years in jail because I owed $5,130. I gave them a phony name gave him a phony address and they said that's the one they have on file it is a total scam. i cussed the a****** out after wasting his time of 8 minutes on the phone. Delete my number or I'll keep wasting your time
Caller on message machine said from US Treasury Office need to respond some court issues. Never talked to him. He leave a call back number is 504-226-8416 but the ID show the phone number is 504-226-8461. It is a scam.
Left msg saying his name is Steve Marvin or Martin or Madden (unclear) calling for a collection from the Dept. of Treasury. He says to call back at 504-226-8416 yet the phone ID shows 504-226-8461 and it originates apparently from New Orleans, LA. THIS IS DEFINITELY A SCAM.
