Called but did not leave message!

i got phone call from this number. no message left. then called again. i picked it up said verizon payment center. but im current on my bill ,  im actually ahead so i didnt understand what its for and didnt ask. i didnt want it to be a scam where they recorded  a fake header for company and get  any information. ive gotten enough  spoofing numbers, and others thru the internet that are fakes.

call claimed to be verizon, have not done business with verizon for approx 9 years. Claimed it was time to pay my bill??
Sounds like a Scam.

received call from this number, called back "Verizon", but I've NEVER been a verizon customer.

Am on the do not call list.  Didn't answer and they did not leave message.
