Officer "John Thomas" just called me says the irs is opening a lawsuit against me. I asked why and if he could speak up cause I couldn't hear and understand him (Iranian trying to speak English)
I asked to speak with someone that can speak better English... An American is what I really wanted! He told me to [***] off and hung up. Called my local non emergency police station, they told me don't fall for it and if u have the phone number report it the the fbi (fbi number found on there website)
Callbot claimed to be with IRS, Internal Revenue Services, regarding a lawsuit against me. First of all, the IRS contacts you by mail, not by phone, and second, it is Service - not Services.
Received 2 phone calls from this number in 3 1/2 hours. Left a message to call their office immediately. They did not give out any further information. Just repeated "call immediately". I have received 5 calls from numbers I do not recognize in 3 1/2 hours. 2 from this number, and another similar from 206-855-6868.
A gentleman calling himself John Thomas (IRS ID# IRM7386) called saying we owed 6k to the IRS. Then he proceeded to say he was sending the authorities to arrest us for tax evasion. We gave him our current address and said we were looking forward to discussing this with the authorities (knowing this was full on BS). After asking us where we do our taxes, he proceeded to tell us the US GOVT doesn't support the use of tax services (that is when knew we were dealing with moron). Too bad he didn't know that our family has been connected to the US GOVT for over 13 years, and they have our addresses (we've moved a lot) all on file and have issues contacting us at the current and correct address the first time and every time.
