Caller ID was Vocalocity, Inc., which is just the name of a company that used to provide Voice Over IP services for companies to use to make outgoing calls, so that they are not identified by caller ID. They left the exact same message, same voice as previous calls with different phone numbers with caller IDs of Jonesboro, GA, and Jackson, MS:
"…press 1 to be transferred to a representative. If you are not available at the moment, please return this call immediately. The number is (855) 323-8822. Again, this is a very important matter. We must speak with you immediately. Thank you."
It's only important to them. I assume they are attempting to illegally collect old debts that were paid or discharged. I never call them back. I've been getting these types of calls for years and I always ignore them…immediately.
