Called at 4:06 pm CST on March 28. Caller ID only said "New Orleans LA". Recorded male voice launched into a rapid-fire sales pitch about [?] baby products. We hung up but checked our pest 'phone log to find that we'd been called from the same local number at 7 o-clock in the evening (abnormal time for a business call) on March 16. That time, all we heard was paper-rustling and breathing and the live caller refused ID or to speak. We called the local number back and reached only recording (female voice) about winning a prize through "WCA"
WCA appears (Manta) to be to be Worldwide Commerce Associates, 3651 Lindell Road, Suite D, Las Vegas, NV 89103, peddling "subscription services." As this was the second call from this pest, we're sending them a Cease And Desist notice and a bill for $250.00 (our hourly consultation rate!) for business interruption.
2nd day in a row a woman calls wanting to verify my address which she had, wanting to send me 2 more bottles of a weight loss produce I stupidly fell for online since I could get it for $1.50, how stupid I was. I had no idea I would be turned over to a telemarketer. It was a different number yesterday, I blocked the first call, but they keep fooling me with my local area code 504-355-1264 and 504-358-8292 same person same product. This time I told her I did not want any more of that product and hung up. They usually call here between 9 & noon.
