504-431-4090 called while I was out. No message left. Caller ID said BURAS, JAY. When I did a search on this number, my local TV station came up showing a list of phony identities and phone numbers used by scammers. This phone number was on the list but with a different name. It has to be some kind of a scam, so if you get a call from 504-431-4090 and it has a name, it's probably all fake.

This number just called again at 156PM. Caller ID again said BURAS, JAY. However, both the number and name are spoofed, as I described in my first post. This time, when I answered, it was a guy with an Indian accent suing he is with Microsoft Windows and that my computer was sending error messages to their computer center. He wanted me to give him access to my computer to fix the problems. I told him to go flop himself and hung up.
This is the old Microsoft windows scam trying to get remote access to your computer so they can load malware and steal your identity.
Call from this number said Amy Buras. Left no message. Wonder when these idiots will wake up and understand we don't answer calls from unknown numbers? It will be blocked..
