My phone rings 4 or 5 times a day, every day, from this number, even though I reported them to the do not call registry, and I cannot stop it - the call always waits for my answering machine to pick up, then disconnects.
I want this caller to stop calling. Called me eleven times in less than three days. When I answer there is no one on the line and a beeping sound starts. This same caller has called in the past but now it is just an annoyance.
I find it interesting that people want something done, but do nothing themselves. No one here can stop this call. Only you. Call your service provider about call blocking. Look into a cell phone blocking app. Do a web search on call blocking devices for land line phones. Take control by taking action.
Thanks for the info. Bought a call blocker last week, need to program the spoofs (last week it was SEARS) and numbers like the one under discussion here.
