Question is, who would answer a call from Jean Lafitte in Louisiana, anyway? Jean Lafitte (c. 1780 – c. 1823) was a French pirate and privateer in the Gulf of Mexico in the early 19th century.
With caller ID, if I don't know them I don't answer. If they leave a message and it turns out to be someone I'd like to speak with, I return the call. Everyone else gets ignored and their number blocked. Especially a 19th century pirate by the name of Jean Lafitte.
There's really no such thing as a National Do-Not-Call Registry. Even if a junk caller could see your number on the Registry, it's totally up to them whether or not they decide to call you. There's no penalty for calling a Do-Not-Call Registry number. Human OR robot.
5/18/17 Thursday at 2:02 PM CID showed this number, answering picked up and NO message left, reading the thread shows it to be a scammer and/or dealing with car warranties??? Wish they'd get a life and leave people alone
