It's a political call. For all those saying you are on the Do Not Call list, you need to read the fine print that you can still receive calls from political organizations, survey calls, charities and bill collectors. It pretty much only stops telemarketers.
National do not call directory? Politicians are exempted from that don't you know? Oh and also companies with a business relationship to you such as insurance, credit card companies and banks are exempted from the law, isn't that lovely then?
The problem I have with political calls that contained the area code 200. That is about as dishonest as it gets. This is one of the reasons why I treat ALL calls from unfamiliar numbers as a potential scam.
