This is a Public Service Announcement regarding 1st Financial. We have never answered one of their calls because we have absolutely no past due debts nor have we ever had any dealings whatsoever with 1st Financial. The following numbers have all been associated with this debt collector and we suspect they are phishing scams, not legitimate calls.

That name never comes up and the smartest thing any of you can do, assuming you know there is no reason for these people to be calling you, is to not pick up the phone in the first place. If you don't know them, DO NOT ENGAGE THEM. If they have something important to tell you, they will leave a message. BLOCK these calls because they are just PHISHING and have no legitimate business with you!
Two calls from this number today. They hang up on our machine. If we don't know you, and especially if NO NAME appears in the Caller ID, we simply don't answer. BLOCKED.

Do not answer the phone from this caller. I was called by this number 4 times in one day. They are desperate for my personal information. I suggest you visit First Financial's website and call that number instead of answering them. It is most likely voice phishing. Stay safe and stay informed.
If a call comes to your home with no identifier (name or company) and they do not leave a message on the machine, the prudent thing to do is block the caller if they call again. As another wise person noted, "if the call is important, the caller will leave a message". If they hang up on your machine, you absolutely do not want to talk to them. I'm old enough to remember party lines, dashing for the phone if the ring pattern was for your house. It was exciting! Now, we don't answer until familiar vocal chords are heard! Our telephone numbers are being used as weapons by criminals.
