Yep, I'm in trouble too with the all the courts in the world, all the magic-strates, ustreasury(located somewhere outside the real US), etc. I think these are the same dudes who wanted to "help" with my computer, calling from "microw soft". Usually they don't leave a message but I guess they were a bit desperate, didn't make their month. Don't fall for these dudes. I think calling back just informs them they've got somebody's attention & another shot. These guys are big time scammers, just after money, willing to do & say anything to get it. The latest scams need to be reported so others will be prepared when these creeps come calling with their latest bs.
Yes, Steve Martin called today. This is a scam just like the ones that say they're from the Microsoft Service center and you have a virus on the computer. I didn't pickup the phone so I guess I'm in trouble .. LMAO>>> I have picked up the phone with the computer scam. I play the game and waste their time. I make like I'm concerned, ask what to do, I say I hope it fixes the problems and then tell them "the computer crashed and it's restarting do you mind holding on?" I then hang the phone up.
"Steve Martin" left a similar message saying he was "calling re: an enforcement action executed by the US Treasury." He asked to be called back at 504-535-5920. In the last month, we have had at least 2 or 3 similar calls each time asking to be called back at a different number. I did not call them back.
