I do taxes for a client who informed me that he received a call from a Mrs. William from this number 504-558-3117. I went online to research this number, and I found out that this number is a wireless number. Since when does the IRS call from a wireless number?...Never!...Also, I looked up all numbers for IRS in Louisiana, and this number is not listed as one of the numbers. It upsets me that people use just about anything to scam people out of money. The funny thing is when I call the number back it says, " you have reached Audix voicemail of Maria William". If anyone knows anything more about this number please share.
