I keep getting several calls a day from this number looking for someone else. I select opt4 that lets them know that they have an incorrect number and I am still getting calls. Tried to call 504-620-3600 office and no one answers.
1) Report the calls to the FCC here: https://esupport.fcc.gov/form1088/consumer.do The FCC enforces the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA).
2) Sue 'em. Whether you received only one illegal call or multiple calls, the TCPA gives you the right to sue for damages to the tune of $500 per call. You can file suit yourself (usually in small claims court) or retain a consumer law attorney who will take care of it on your behalf. Many times, by the way, the telemarketer settles out of court.
I get calls from this number daily, sometimes several times a day. 50% of my incoming call traffic must be from this number alone, and it's extremely annoying. The prerecorded message asks for someone that doesn't live here (and to my knowledge has never lived here, and never had my phone number), and gives several options along with the number to press. We always press 4 (that the person does not live here), and we're told that we'll be removed from the computer, but the calls continue.
I am getting the same calls every day! I too have pressed the "4" option but the calls still continue the very next day. I really would hate to change my number just to get rid of this aggravation but it seems to be the only option. I guess I will have to try reporting it to the FCC and see if that pans out.
