This We Have Job for You scam is one of many
Here is the supposed company -- Essel -- which is a huge international company
The text says "Your resume has been reviewed by the human resources and you have been selected for an online interview."
I am looking for work so at first I am happy. Although I wonder why they dont actually call or email me, that info is on my resume.
I replied with just "ok"
Next text says
"I am Mrs Margaret Darren I am the Director of Quality Control and Employee Compliance of (Essel Group Company). I am contacting you in regards of your resume posted. I want to interview you."
Next text says to give an email address(I used an old one) and open up a google hangouts chat with
the address
[email protected]
But then nothing happened for a minute and a half so I closed it and started searching for scams, found lots of similar stories but not this number or name. This person has now texted me 4 times in the last 30 minutes trying to "connect with me" and "offer me the details of my new job"
I wanted to post this for others benefit. DONT EVER GIVE Credit card or SS# to anyone.

Note the "company" uses a Gmail (free) address.  Also the "company name" is in parentheses which is a red flag to me - easy to change names quickly.

I received a text like this today.. I knew it was a scam who interview via hangout

I just received a very similar text and it turned out to be a scam. They are just fishing for information. Don't fall for this scam.

Omg I wished I would of saw this earlier !!!
