The area code 504 (in which I live) shows up rarely in complaint sites, but when it does, it usually masks a "lu-lu". "504" is the area that was hit hard in 2005 by Hurricane Katrina.
According to reverse number information says that this call is coming from a Sprint cellular source. However, there is another "syndicate" of spammers that I've tracked down through spam e-mail sources, no less, that are using Verizon's "phone hobbyist" feature to mask their games as well (Verizon is completely innocent of all the hanky-panky).
Your best defense against this spammer is your Caller ID. If you see a name and/or number you don't recognize, don't pick up the call!
