Political season is on us, and we can expect to be bombarded with junk phone calls from our own area codes. This means that scammers who spoof numbers will be out in force as well.
If you see a name and/or number you do not recognize, don't pick up the call -- even if it is from your own area code. Let it ring itself out. Simple
For the last week I have been getting at least 3 calls a day from this number. I don't answer and let the answering machine pick up, they don't ever leave a message. Today I decided to pick up the phone but stay silent, didn't say hello, I just picked up and listened, they did not say a word either so after 15 seconds I hung up.
