Claims to be a collector. But # is unpublished as to who it belongs to other than it coming out of Santa Fe, NM. They claim to be First National Collection Bureau. However, I haven't found any such agency in NM. There is an agency by that name coming out of NV. They have a lot of complaints against them so far. Google it for details. The other odd thing is that when I press them to tell me what they want they ask me if I am so & so or if I know this person and when I say no, they hang up. Sounds very fishy to me.
I've been receiving calls from this number at least twice a day. I've added this phone number to my address book and named it "DO NOT ANSWER" so I can just ignore it now. Whoever they are, they are "spoofing" the call so it appears to be another phone number so as to disguise who they really are. I still don't know they really are but at least I can ignore itnow.
second call from this number came this morning.
When I tried to call back, a message said to hold, then hung up for the dreaded "If you'd like to make a call..." Qwest recording.
This is not the only number that I experience this with.
