I just received not one, not two, but THREE calls from this number trying to pose as Centurylink and telling me that they are willing to save me $20 per line for NO REASON AT ALL! That's when I told her I wasn't interested and terminated the call. This caller called me again and tried to persuade me to listen to her as she's trying to save me $20 per line. #1 I already knew it was a scam because I had already verified with Centurylink that they NEVER make outbound sales calls. Again I terminated the call and then she calls me a third time but this time she calls me back to tell me off!!! I'd like to wring her neck if I could over the phone...

Ditto. "Ashley" called to "speak to the person in charge of the Century Link Bill" to remove charges from my bill. Fast and smooth talker. I told her I wasn't interested. She said "You're not interested in removing charges from your bill?" If she was from Century Link, she would have known the person in charge of the Century Link Bill, because Century Link always has an "authorized person" on file for every phone number. She was trying to get my name, so she could "Cram" third party billing charges onto my bill. I told her no, I'm not interested, and terminated the call.
FYI, Century Link has a free service that blocks any third party charges from being (Crammed onto) added to your bill. I highly recommend that service.
