Faked number - caller was a telemarketer looking to sell a monthly subscription for a lead generation service called "yours" (sp?)
Not only have I NEVER heard of this service, most times these "subscription" services are targeting new agents - they're less likely to know that these are just a waste of money and in an effort to generate new business they jump right in.
Think of it this way - They offer you an "exclusive" right to a certain set of zip codes from this service called "Yours". You are the only agent getting those leads, right?
Not really.
The guy in the next cubicle to you might have a subscription to their sister site called "Mine" - and he is the "exclusive" agent for those very SAME zip codes.
They can sell the same zip codes into oblivion using separate site names and thus never actually committing fraud by never selling the same zip codes from the same site twice.
