The idiots are a bunch of what sound like people fresh from somewhere in Asia with thick accents. The # belongs to an adult day care center in New Jersey! And check your credit card charges for a thing called Family Savings Club at this # 866-709-7400. It is fraudulent and you'll see a charge of $19 .95 on your transactions. DO NOT CALL these jerks, as they will know they have a live one. Call The Federal Trade Commision, credit card, bank, your Lifelock account, or anything you can think of to get these creeps. Got a call from this number on my unlisted business line a few moments ago, it showed up on the caller ID as "Cellphone NM". Didn't bother answering and no message was left. Whoever it is, they're trolling for marks so the number and ID are likely spoofed, maybe using a known out of service number.
I got a call from that number, they didn't leave a message and when I called it back not even 10 min. Later it said it was changed, disconnected or not in service??? Smh :/
This number called a few minutes ago. I don't answer calls from numbers I don't know. I don't call back, just block what isn't personal.
I understand and share everyone's frustration with the do not call registry's limitations, I've worked in both land line and cell communicates and understand that there are limitations to what can be investigated and stopped anymore... corporations and businesses making calls, yes; scammers and phishers, not so much. They don't pay attention to laws (surprise) and use disposable resources to not be traced.
This is likely a burner phone number. The message stating it's the Verizon payment center can easily be faked and if you punch in your card information to pay your bill they have your information. What other purpose they have in calling people, I don't know. I don't have to know to be smart enough to not give any information to someone I didn't purposely call to give it to.

Absolutely right! Watch out for bogus Microsoft callers at 212-334-5840. They're actually an adult day care center. NEVER ANSWER AN UNKNOWN PHONE NUMBER! Read my reply of Oct. 31st to kat, I think it was. A thing called Family Savings Club charged my credit card twice for $19.95. They have this #: 866-709-7400. Credit card took care of it. Lifelock too. Federal Trade Commision investigates these things. Their # is: 877-382-4357. Do a search on suspicious numbers. What low-lifes!
