Who called from 5052215912

First call from this number received this afternoon.  It's the same credit card interest scam now dialing in from New Mexico.

I also received a call from this number.I didn't answer as I don't know anyone in NM and I  figured this was another spam call

Block the number. It is a robo call credit card scam.

A new spoofed number from the same old credit card interest rate reduce scam network. It is not from NM as stated above, but spoofed number. Block the number if you don't want them to call you from that number. This is what happens when you have inefficient government that wastes tax payer money in introduction of "Democracy" instead of cleaning it's house and protect innocent citizens from criminals like this.

There is a simple way to block all spoofed phone numbers. It is the same process used to verify email addresses.

Step 1
If caller ID has anything but a real phone number,  block it.

Step 2
send a ping type signal through the connection, to test if the real number calling you
is actually connected at the other end.

Step 3
if caller who makes it to this point is violating the DNC, put them in community service and
require them to take an ethics class.

Steps 1 and 2 to be done by the phone company,  step 3 by law enforcement.
