These people calls all the time and I press *77 and hang up. I'm going to report it to the BBB and see what they can do about it and several other ones.
No message left on the answering machine and when I answer the person does not listen when I say I don't take solicitations over the phone. Calling weekly.
Beware - Scam. It seems they like to target mostly women. This old “Telemarketer” man called & asked to speak to my wife. When I said she was not available & I would take a message. He quickly & rudely said no-no its just a courtesy call & hung up immediately. I didn’t even have a chance to say or ask anything. My wife & I were curious, so we called the number back & a voice recording picked up stating it was Purple Heart military collecting money & they are registered with the state, blah, blah, blah. Then I did a search on line of this phone number 505-349-4495. It seems they always ask to speak to the woman in the house. I would not trust them.
I received a call form this number yesterday and the caller was very insistant that I not wait for the information but give him a credit card number - which I refused to do. Supposedly the Purple Heart Club.
I have seen that number on my caller ID several times before. The last time they called I did pick up the phone and waited for about 3 to 5 seconds and there was no answer. Whoever this person is, they are VERY persistant to have called me several times.
