Today we received a call from someone with butchered English, possibly a Hispanic or Mediterranean sounding accent and once I spoke the person whined "Grandma" then tried to include our name but apparently wasn't sure which name to use and called me "Grandma Henry", and I at first just let out a high pitched scream into the phone and then hung up.  The caller wasn't impressed and called back immediately and tried again, sounding like he was crying.....I told the caller I was reporting the phone number to the police and hung up!  No more calls yet.   But what am I really to do about this?  Is there a good way to report this or help whatever agency is tasked with the almost impossible job of stopping these scam artists?   I didn't even let it go to the point of finding out whatever it was they wanted from us, but it isn't the first time it has happened and it won't be the last I am sure.
