Created a care.com profile and not even 24 hours later I get a text from this guy. Gave me his email and I gave him mine and he fed me the same BS! Said I could watch his daughter at the hotel near me where they would be staying or at my house. Asked if I was married.... once I said I wasn't interested, didn't hear from him again. Freaked me out a lot considering my phone number was not public information! Needless to say I deleted my care.com profile- a little extra money is not worth the risk!
Texted me with request for my availability, then wanted my email address. Never said a name or anything and wouldn't answer my questions without me giving an email address. Told me to email [email protected]. I blocked number at this point.
He pulled the same stunts with me. Texted me first (how did he even get my phone number in the first place?) and then asked for my email address. Also told me his wife his cancer. Sounds like a major scammer!!
