Just got a call from this number and sent it to voicemail on my cell phone. Of course, they didn't leave a message.
I, too, have gotten calls about "medical claims." One foreign caller I did speak to told me I was entitled to compensation because of my use of birth control pills. Um, I have never used The Pill.
I reported their other numbers to the National Phone Registery as I am on the Do Not Call list.
This caller spoke with my 8 year daughter when they called as she brought me the phone I we answer I could hear a noisy background as if they were surrounded in a call center or a house full of company. when I said hello! they immediately hung up, I tried returning the call and yhe operator said that the number was no longer in service. Please! Don't play on my intelligence, I am a former telemarketer. That was not professional, nor was it necessary. It is alot going on, consumers be aware that these callers may also be a burglar. So stay prayerful and watchful their are people out there that prey on the weak, hard workers, and elderly and those that are not informed.
I just received a call from this number. there was a guy with an India accent that asked me if I've had any type of mesh or bladder surgery (or something like that, I couldn't really understand him) or if I took some type of birth control (couldn't understand him on that one either). I think he was offering some type of settlement or something of the sort. Honestly, if these people are trying to scam us, the least they could do is learn to speak English a bit clearer or get someone else to do it that does!
Called my cell phone and left a message. He had a very strong Indian accent. He said my medical records show I took birth control pills and I could win money because the maker is being sued. I am reporting them to the FCC.
Called today, super thick Indian / Middle Eastern accent. Said this call was regarding a past medical settlement after surgery. I told him he had the wrong number (knowing this was a scam), he got loud and insisted that I answer him, I told him again (equally as loud as he was) that he had the WRONG NUMBER, he mumbled like an [***] hole and hung up.
