They called and told me that I won a prize from the Publishers Clearing House giveaway and then tried to get me to go to Walmart and wire them money so they could deliver the prize. I immefiately realized it was a scam, called them on it and they hung up. But they keep calling me.
They try to get you to say yes so they keep asking "Can you hear me" ..Careful everyone...Heard about this on television they called me 3 times asking if I can hear them....When you say yes supposedly you are giving them permission to charge you!! I said what do you want. Who are you and they kept hanging up! SCAMMERS!! BE ALERT!

They just called my elderly mother, 11 pm - said they were coming 10 am tomorrow - Publisher's Clearing House. Allen Jones. Not sure if it is the same peo but she is on a "SCAM" list from PC for several months now. Wanted her to meet them in Washington D.C. + give them $5000, because "she won $400,000. Gave her a phony check and wanted her to give them $ - coming to her house to get it, another time. Stay away!!!!!! A neighbor said they are doing it to his elderly mother too. Authorities should be looking into this "elder abuse" scam!!!
You should talk to your neighbor and gather whatever evidence you have, like that phony check, then go to the police and inform them about the incident, that your fearful someone is stalking the neighborhood and might be burglars on the move.
