Does anyone know the name and address of this company?? Some guy by the name of Mike Phens, claiming to be a "Brown County processor" called my Mom's house saying he was going to show up there tomorrow between 10 A.M. and 2 P.M. with paper work regarding a civil law suit against me for writing a "bad check". He refused to provide a company name or telephone number to my Mom (told her he only has a cell phone, and did not want to provide her the number). He informed my Mom to tell me to call a John Ferraro at 507-216-6613 to stop him from coming to my Mom's house tomorrow. Needless to say, I don't live with my Mom (she lives 90 miles away, up north, alone in the "woods"), and my Dad just recently passed away from cancer, so my Mom is very up-set and scared to some man coming to her house without identifying himself. Upon calling John Ferraro, he claimed he did not know who Mike Phens is, and refused to provide me any information regarding his company, including the company name and address. John Ferraro ended up "hanging up" on me after I told him I would be contacting law enforcement. In addition, the Brown County Court does not having any paper work either "filed" or in an 'open" status. I have been calling Mr. Ferraro back for the last two hours, for different telephone numbers, however, he refuses to answer the telephone... Guess I will have to drive up north by Mom to protect her from this Mike Phens guys, whom refused to provide any information about whom he really is.........
Shady scam, attempt to collect money from a check loan that is paid off. Checked the name of company he gave, only one company found in Florida, that doesn't match his location or services provided by company.
