I am having the same phone calls, no answer when I call back or a recording(not official sounding) that the number is disconnected. They called againtoday and a person came on and said they were with my local phone company and were updating service information and would be mailing a web page offer. Said they would not be billing me for it, just sending in the mail. I too had difficulty understanding this person. She then switched me over to a "verification agent". who put on a series of recorded messages. When I said I did not understand and asked again about the web thing, he hung up.

i keep getting calls from this number and they never leave a message. When i answer they hang up right as i hit the button. If i call the number back it tells me that its disconnected. I tried to look up the provider of the phone line which is Brook Fiber communications and they never answer what the hell is this any one knows?
This is interesting. I just got a call from this number also. cannot call it back "disconnected" The person was hard to understand and asked for me by name, but then it was hard to follow, something about watching Ozzie for the weekend. Not a name I know outside the Osborns.
They are calling me 20-30 times a day telling me they are with Qwest Dex, which is two different companies. And offering me a free line in the phone book if I buy this stuff, well I know I already have a free line in the phone book. I tell them to stop calling me and they just keep calling all day long. So now I'm mad and turning them into anyone who cares.
