Message is intentionally vague and sounds urgent:  leaves her name, but no company or reference to what the call is regarding.  Asks for a callback at a different number than showing on caller ID...Why do they work so hard to look like slimeballs?

they are not being slimeballs, they are just doing their jobs

Lisa Manning left a voice mail requesting an RSVP to a "business event" I was supposedly invited to at a local upscale restaurant.

I think it's a headhunter...left a message stating that he "had a client that he would like to talk to me about"
