BTW never say the word "yes" to any of these callers; they can use this as a verbal approval, and you could have anything happen--including exorbitant bills which they will hound you about for the next several years, threatening legal action if you do not pay.
Asked for me by name which I didn't acknowledge. I asked who was calling and the male caller said "the chimney company." (Now there's an original name!) I asked them to take my number off their call list. For all I know, it's a phishing scam. So much for the Do Not Call list, huh?
I received many calls from this number. They never speak with me: it's always silence at the other end. But when my wife picks up they talk and sollicitate donations and thank he for previous donations my wife never done. I wants these poeple to stop calling my house. They call about 4-5 times per week
Received call from 508-100-0000. Knew my name..identified himself as Remy from the Chimney Company. I stopped him there, told him I didn't ask him to call me and hung up.
