Caller ID says "Bridgewater MA". They leave no message.
I call back at night. It sounds like the name is "All State Vending", maybe it's Venting.
I call back during business hours (using *67 to block my number). I hear, "Hi, you have reached All State Maintenance. We are a full service and reliable ventillation company. Please, listen carefully as our menu options have changed. For 24 hour emergency service, please, press 1. If you would like to be put on our do-not-call list, please, press 2. If you would like to schedule, cancel, or confirm an appointment, please, press 3. If you would like to speak to George Omovich, our customer relation manager, please, press 4. If you would like to speak to Linda Martin, our general office manager, please, press 5. If you would like to speak to John Bennett, please, press 6. For our general operator, please, press 0. Thank You."
I selected 0. I explained that I received a call, but didn't know why. She was quite pleasant and explained they were pushing chimney cleaning services. I mentioned that I was on the federal do-not-call list, and that it was illegal to call me. She offered to put me on their own DNC list. I declined to provide my number. From there the tenor of the call declined rapidly.
I tried to explain that if they were not nice, then they could sell my number as a "live one". She basically told me they were nice. This is what a nice or non-nice person would say. I remained cool but resolute. Eventually, she basically called me a crazy/loser composite.
I googled their name, but was unable to find a website that matched up with them.
